Die Gesellschaft wurde erstmals 1875 in Kellys Post Office Directories erwähnt. Sie firmierte damals als Apollinaris Co. Ltd. Im Folgejahr wird sie als Weinhändler, und wiederum ein Jahr darauf als Wein- und Mineralwasserhändler geführt. Von 1878 bis 1894 wurde dann schließlich nur Mineralwasser verkauft. 1895 zog die Firma nach 4 Stratford Place, Oxford Street. Von 1898 bis 1931 wird unter dieser Adresse noch eine zweite Apollinaris & Johannis Limited geführt. Ihren Namen hat die Gesellschaft vom Apollinaris-Brunnen im Ahrtal. Die Abfüllanlagen der Gesellschaft befanden sich in der Nähe von Niederbreisig. | ||||||||

The company was first mentioned in Kelly’s Post Office Directories in 1875, operating under the name Apollinaris Co. Ltd. The following year, it was listed as a wine merchant, and a year later as a wine and mineral water dealer. From 1878 to 1894, the company exclusively sold mineral water. In 1895, the firm moved to 4 Stratford Place, Oxford Street. From 1898 to 1931, a second Apollinaris & Johannis Limited was also listed at this address. The company was named after the Apollinaris spring in the Ahrtal region. The bottling facilities of the company were located near Niederbreisig. | ||||||||
